Behind the Scenes: Water Lily

I am often asked what it is like to be at a photo shoot, and since I mainly shoot on-location, I asked Pauline Olson - the mother of Cassandra, the "Water Lily" model (below) - to take some behind- the-scenes snapshots. Hairstyling (by Brenda Sanford) and makeup (by Lindsey Williams) were done off-site before we drove to the river. It was a simple shot, and too many people in the water would have created unwanted bubbles and rippling, so no assistants were used.
